    Naperville, IL - April 25, 2008

Jody Jankovsky, founder and managing partner of Black Line Consulting, has acquired considerable experience in addressing client needs throughout his 20-year career in the IT industry. After graduating with a degree in Computer Science from Illinois State University in 1989, Jody Jody Head Shotbegan his career in Information Technology as a programmer with Arthur Andersen. After five years of corporate life, Jody moved his software design experience, his IT knowledge and his entrepreneurial spirit from Chicago’s Loop to the suburbs of Naperville and formed his own IT consulting firm in 1993.

With well over a decade of experience in working with small to mid-market clients in a diverse range of industries, Jody has developed an intimate understanding of the close relationship between information technologies and business productivity. Jody has served on the Technology Committees of both the Naperville and Aurora Chambers of Commerce. He was Vice President and Secretary of the Chicagoland IT Users’ Group. Additionally, he was a member of the board assisting with IT issues for the DuPage Children’s Museum, and has served on the Executive Board of The Carpenter’s Place, a unique non-profit that uses IT methodology to manage the recovery casework of homeless men and women.

Throughout his career, Jody has developed a time-tested IT consulting model which ensures the implementation and management of technologies are specifically aligned with the unique goals and objectives of each client business, no matter the size or industry. Jody’s vision and expertise have been the keys to the success and expansion of his own corporation, as well as that of the companies his firm supports.

When he is not charting the course for Blackline, Jody, a native son of the Chicago area, spends as much time as he can with his wife of eighteen years, Jennifer, and their two sons, Aaron 6, and Jake 9. He lives out his passion for helping young boys grow into men of character by volunteering for a Cub Scout Pack as Cubmaster and as a mentor for the Aurora youth organization, Triple Threat Mentoring.
